Your responsibilities as a KEKOA guest
We strongly encourage all KEKOA guests to have appropriate travel insurance in place for their entire trips including their time on KEKOA.
Pre-arrival
Guests also have a responsibility to inform us in advance and at the earliest opportunity if they or any member of their party is:
1. Unwell.
2. Isolating because they are at risk of becoming unwell with Covid-19.
3. From a designated Covid-19 Hot Spot.
Regrettably this will mean that member of your group may not attend and if he or she has been in contact with all of your party, cancellation of your trip.
Guests will also be asked to complete a “Passenger Health Screening Form” upon arrival. Copies of this form will be emailed to all clients prior to their trip.
On Arrival
Upon arrival guests will sign in completing the “Passenger Health Screening Form”. Guest temperatures will also be tested upon arrival with an infrared forehead thermometer. Guests displaying symptoms will be asked to disembark immediately.
Our crew members complete the same health screening and undergo regular temperature and and symptom monitoring. All crew have also completed Covid-19 training as per our Covid Safe Plan.
It is important to us to be able to continue to provide once-in-a-lifetime fishing experiences for our guests. Please help us to manage the health and safety of our crew by cooperating with the measures outlined above. Do the same things for us that you are doing to keep your own friends and family healthy and well.
This includes frequent handwashing, covering your nose and mouth when you need to cough or sneeze (sneeze in the crook of your arm or a clean tissue) and observe the rules for physical distancing.
